Gilded Lily Planner Kit

Happy Monday!

I'm excited to share with you the personal planner kits that I just added to my Etsy shop. If you have a Webster's Pages Color Crush planner or smaller (basically, 3.75" x 6.75" insert size), these kits will work beautifully! Of course, I can always create a few kits for larger planner sizes.

Off subject for just a moment, but I also added individual Graphic 45 Gilded Lily sheets to my shop, too! Sometimes you just need that one or two extra papers ... or maybe you need eight of the same kind. It's all there as well!

Ladies and gents who grab my kit will get all the fun stuff in the photo below: Graphic 45 Gilded Lily stickers, some double-sided paper, hand-embossed flowers, post-its and more. Oh, and each person who orders will also get a lovely little gift from moi.

If you're a Facebook friend, family member or blog pal of mine, remember the coupon code that I shared the other day ago - it counts toward these planner kits, too!

Thanks so much for looking and enjoy your day!

Etsy shop coupon!

Happy Saturday!

Thank you all for following my paper journey and being such a great support. To all of my family and friends here (yes, that includes my blog followers and former students), I'm offering a special coupon code that you can use in my Etsy shop!

During checkout, just enter coupon code FRIENDS10 and you'll get 10% off your entire order.

I've got some pretty planner kits hitting my online shelves early next week, so stay tuned for those! If you're in the central Oregon coast area or beyond, I will be hosting another class this summer. We'll be making some all occasion cards using Graphic 45's Time To Flourish paper and stamps!

Again, thank you for all your support. If you ever have kit or class ideas you'd like to see, feel free to leave a comment or message me on Facebook!

Big hugs,

Maria

Gilded Lily 2 page layout

Happy Hump Day!

Just wanted to share a two page layout that I made using Graphic 45's gorgeous new Gilded Lily paper. I won't be hosting a class for this, but I do have a few kits for sale in my Etsy shop!

Off subject, but have you been watching the new Graphic 45 2015-2016 Design Team introductions? Holy smokes, this is an amazing group of designers! I love seeing some of my favorite crafters return for another year. I'm also loving the more modern-style designers and their beautiful use of whitespace. And the Prima influence ... Just lovely!

Thank you so much for looking today. I have more fun Gilded Lily kit projects in the works, so stay tuned!

Father's Day inspiration

Happy Thursday!

Can you believe we're halfway through 2015? It really seems like just yesterday when I was decorating for Christmas. And here we are, just a few days away from Father's Day!

I wanted to share a super quick and simple little gift bag and card I made using Graphic 45's Good Ol' Sport paper. If you have the We R Memory Keepers Gift Bag Punch, you can make a similar bag yourself!

My card fits inside the gift bag, but I think I'll be stuffing it with chocolate instead. This particular dad is quite fond of the stuff. :) That's all for now. Thanks for looking! And for all you Dads out there, a most joyous Father's Day to you!

Gift Card Holder Tutorial

Happy Thursday!

I have a clean and simple little tutorial for you today. It's a gift card holder that I made for a very special high school graduate. :)

My lovely friend Lauren gave me these beautiful Avery Elle Bonjour stamps and I just love them! I thought they would make a fun focal point for the gift card holder. For a soft and pretty look, I used Antique Linen, Scattered Straw and Victorian Rose Distress Ink pads. (And yes, I really need to get the mini ones, they would probably look even cuter and daintier next to my stamps.)

Grab some 5.5" wide x 4.25" tall cream cardstock. (I used some paper a friend gave me from Paper Source. It has a really pretty sheen to it and came with ric-rac edges.)

From a 12" x 12" Graphic 45 Botanical Tea paper pad, fussy cut a couple stamps, mini butterfly and a couple pink flowers. Cut out the word "Celebration" and stamp "Ooh La La" onto some scratch paper. Trim a piece of 4.75" wide x 2 1/8" tall blue stripe paper and trim a piece of blue teapot border to 4.75" long.

Use the solid macaron stamp and stamp three times along the top of the card. Adhere all your other little pieces. I popped up one stamp and one flower with foam dots.

For the back, trim a piece of 4.75" wide x 3.5" tall blue stripe paper. Cut out the journaling card with pink flowers and blue butterfly. If you have the Botanical Tea chipboard set, remove the piece with three blue butterflies.

Glue the blue stripe paper first. Adhere the chipboard piece to the journaling card. Then, place adhesive on the bottom, left and right sides ONLY of the journaling card to create a pocket. You can also tuck some cash in here, too!

There you have it! A clean and simple little gift card holder. Enjoy the rest of your day!
