Hi there!
Last week, my shaker tag was featured on Graphic 45's blog. It's just another take on the many upcycled Graphic 45 Staples packaging that you see, only with a fun little element that's normally in cards. I made this tag as a little thank you to celebrate a dear friend of mine.
Step 2. Take your 8” x 8” Stunning paper and cut a 3” square. Round each quarter.
Step 4. Take Couture Flowers and pop out a bunch of small dots. Grab a small handful of gold sequins. Place pieces inside the clear plastic covering.
Step 5. Place adhesive on the outside edges of the clear plastic covering. Then, take the 3” x 3” Stunning paper and place behind plastic, creating a shaker. Adhere to the front of the Graphic 45 Staples packaging.
Step 7. Take some scrap paper and cut out a 2 ½” square. Round each edge of this square. Place the 2 ½” square on top of the 3” square. Use a pen to trace the shape of the smaller square onto the larger square.
Step 8. Remove the smaller square. Cut into the upper right corner and continue cutting out the shape of the smaller square.
Step 9. Adhere paper from step 8 over the shaker. Locate an “Ooh la la!” piece from the Couture Banners sheet and adhere to the center of the shaker.
Step 10. Locate lace border from Couture Stickers. Trim off a 3 7/8” long piece and attach to the bottom front of your tag.
Step 11. Tie 1 foot of 1 ½” wide black May Arts ribbon through your tag.
Step 12. Locate the following pattern from the Couture 6x6 Patterns & Solids pad. Cut a 3 ½” wide x 4 ¼” tall piece. Round each corner.
Step 13. Adhere piece from step 12 to the back of your Graphic 45 packaging. Cut out the flower and stamp image from your Couture Elegant paper and adhere.
Step 14. Locate Botanical Tea Just Because paper and Spellbinders Rose Creations die. Cut 2 each of the second and third largest flowers. Cut 2 each of the smallest and second smallest sizes.
Step 15. Take the 4 larger flowers and crinkle the edges. Adhere layers together, then adhere a Michael’s paper rose to the center.
Step 16. Take the 4 smaller flowers and crinkle the edges. Adhere layers together, then adhere a Prima mini rose to the center.
Step 17. Adhere flowers to the upper right corner of your shaker tag. Adhere some feathers behind your tag.
Step 18. Turn tag over. Attach “Hello Gorgeous” piece from the Couture Tags & Pocket sheet with foam dots. Then, attach “You are amazing” from the Couture Stickers sheet.
