30 Memories Mini Album

Good Morning!

Last night, we celebrated my dear friend Liz's 31st birthday. I wanted to make her a mini album that highlighted her first year as a 30-something, using a bunch of her Instagram photos and of course, the "Memories" line from Teresa Collins.

I used lots of the matching chipboard pieces along with Teresa's adorable enamel dots. And because I love her elegant, glamorous style, I had to add one of the huge flowers from Teresa's earlier lines along with a big grey bow!

This mini is super chunky with lots of various-shaped pages. Just the way I like them!

Liz's mini album starts with her birthday month and goes through August, with at least 2 photos per month. I also added in some areas for journaling. Here's a few peeks at the inside:

Thanks so much for looking! To all my friends celebrating Labor Day, have a great holiday weekend! (And Sabrina, thanks for catching my goof!! ;)

Graphic 45 Mother Goose Altered Wooden Box

Good Morning, Crafty Friends!

Today on the Graphic 45 blog, we are featuring some back to school projects for some early fall inspiration! My project below is featured, along with an amazing altered crayon box by Denise Johnson ... using G45's new Typography line.

Graphic 45 is also giving away this amazing prize pack that includes some of the new Mother Goose AND Typography papers! You could win - just by leaving a comment on G45's blog or Facebook page. Go check it out!

Note the official watermark - the whole G45 DT is so delighted!
While visiting Oregon a few weekends ago, I found a bunch of amazing wooden crafts by Sierra Pacific. They make the BEST wooden crafts, so I picked up several, including this adorable little box with a hinged lid. When I first saw it, it made me think of a crayon box - and then, I got the idea to make it into a back to school project!

I used Mother Goose for this project, as it is so perfect for a children's project. I also used some of my Spellbinder's dies to create the pretty flowers on top.

I fussy cut some of the red argyle to resemble the pattern you see on Crayola crayon boxes, and added some Stickles to my keyhole for a sparkly touch.

Amazingly, a small box of crayons fit perfectly inside my box!

If you have a first time kindergartener or other little "big" kid going to school, I hope this inspires you to make them a fun gift to capture this special milestone! Thanks so much for looking and be sure to visit the Graphic 45 blog daily for inspiration and a chance to win their latest prize pack!

Graphic 45 Secret Garden New Baby Gift

Hello!

First of all, I must apologize for my lack of posting and keeping up-to-date on your blogs. I've been in the process of moving for the past few weeks and boy has it been stressful! We're finally moved but now, it's all about unpacking and putting away all those unsightly boxes.

Yesterday, one of my projects was featured on the Graphic 45 blog! I created the upcycled bag using a paper pad cover and Graphic 45's soft and pretty Secret Garden paper line. I also used Secret Garden for the adorable little matchbook box, which is the perfect fit for a pocket-sized package of kleenex! This was a new baby gift that I made for my dear friend Lauren up in Washington. (Hi, girl! Miss ya!!)

Feel free to visit Graphic 45's blog for a chance to win a fun prize pack that includes the beautiful Secret Garden line! You can win just by leaving a comment on G45's blog or Facebook page. And if you're looking for a fun card tutorial, fellow G45 DT member Clare Charvill made a bright and sunny card using the same paper. Check it out

Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells Layout

Good Morning!

Over at the Graphic 45 blog, we are featuring layouts made with Bohemian Bazaar and Steampunk Spells. Head over to G45 to check out all of the wonderful layouts that my fellow Design Team members made and to win an amazing prize pack!

Here is my layout. It's another project that I made for Graphic 45's booth at Create-N-Connect last week! I used G45's new Halloween line, Steampunk Spells. I had a hard time finding the right photos for this layout, so I opted for some un-spooky ones. The photos below are from an afternoon trip that my then-boyfriend and I took to Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington.

I changed the name to make it more fitting with the Halloween theme.

This is a funky flower that I made using a combination of Graphic 45's coordinating Flowers and Banners embellishments.

I added a little Steampunk photo booth feel by fussycutting some of the imagery and using it as "props" on our photos.

Thanks so much for looking! If you'd love to win some of your own Graphic 45 papers, leave a comment on their blog or Facebook page and you win some Place In Time and French Country goodness!

CHA Bohemian Bazaar Card

Happy Tuesday!

So I'm very late in sharing this with you, but this is a card that I made for Graphic 45's booth at Create-N-Connect (formerly Summer CHA)! I used G45's bright and colorful Bohemian Bazaar paper line, chipboard, and tags and pockets.

It's a little card that stands up and has lots of fun embellishing. Quite a few ladies asked how to mail such a card. Honestly, most cards that I've made like this, I've been able to give in person. But for the 1 or 2 I've had to mail, usually a piece of tissue paper inside a bubble mailer will do!

I used a mixture of Petaloo flowers along with some fussy cut flowers from the main Bohemian Bazaar paper design.

I used a beautiful Spellbinder's die to make my gate below. I found it at one of my favorite stores, The Peddler's Pack. Thank you, Joyce!

The flowery top opens up to reveal a message. I used the matching stickers for this card as well. :)

Thanks so much for looking today! I have another G45 project to share with you tomorrow featuring another one of their mid-year releases. For those of you who went to Vegas, I am so jealous!! I hope to make it to Winter CHA. ;)

Before I leave you, here's a link to a video that Blue Moon Scrapbooking did of the Graphic 45 booth. Keep an eye out for the Mother Goose 12" x 12" easel album by yours truly! ;) (Thank you, Miranda, for sharing it with us!!)
